Hundreds of women, dressed in a thousand of colors, chant incomprehensible war cries in Spanish. Perched at the top of the footbridge overlooking this surreal scene, I observe the show. A magnificent flowerbed, locked and loaded, seem to be preparing for yet another world war against the patriarchy. My sweetheart is here, chief of the armies. She is more beautiful than ever. I approach discreetly to take a closer look at the woman who once shared my bed. Suddenly, an ax is planted a few centimeters from my face! All eyes are now on me. I'm spotted, but it doesn't matter, I know the boss. I give her a look accompanied by a tender smile, but the beauty pretends to have never seen me. I feel that the next few minutes will be dedicated to courage and resourcefulness. The flowers are ready to fight, and they are clearly in numerical superiority. The fight won’t be long.
